The lawyer for David Miranda, the partner of the Guardian
journalist Glenn Greenwald, says her client was treated in a 'most egregious
manner' during his nine-hour detention at Heathrow. Gwendolen Morgan says in
2011, only 4% of the 64,000 people detained under schedule 7 of the Terrorism
Act 2000 were detained for more than an hour, and that she has seen 'no
evidence to suggest that it was anything other than an abuse' of the power
